David Patterson, Library Director

Thank you to those publishing houses who have generously donated books and other material to the
library. Their donations will help the Institute library meet the needs of its students both now and in the
future.  So far, the following publishing houses have donated and sent the library books.  A special
book plate with the publishing houses names will be placed in each book to let the reader know about
the generous donation.

  • Northwestern Publishing House
  • Augsburg Fortress
  • Concordia Publishing House
  • William Carey Library
  • Crossway Books/Good News Publishers
  • Zondervan
  • Inter Varsity Press
  • Brill
  • Regent College Publishing

Thank You Pastors, Professors, and Lay People who have also been so generous.

You Too Can Help Too

The library is still in need of many books as we seek to meet the growing needs of our students.  Those
interested in donating books to the library are encouraged to contact Rev. Douglas Morton, Director of
Library Acquisitions –
dmorton@ILT.org.  We are interested in people willing to
donate a few books, as well as those who are willing to donate entire libraries. Retired pastors, this is
one way you can make sure your books get put to good use for years to come.

Adopt-A-Book Program

In the future we will be adding an Adopt-A-Book page.  You will find the titles of books we believe would
be of great use to our students.  Those who join the Adopt-A-Book program will be given the
opportunity to donate a book or books from their libraries, or purchase a book or books for the library.

Become a Friend of the Library

We are looking for supporters of the Institute to help start a library fund to be used to purchase books,
journals, digital books, computer programs and other materials needed to make the ILT library a
cutting-edge library for its students and professors.  Thus, we are starting a Friends of the Library
support club.
Rev. Douglas Morton, the Director of Acquisitions for the library has committed himself to donated $ 600
this coming year to the Friends of the Library Fund.  He is challenging other supporters to match his
donation or go beyond it.  Imagine what can be done if even a few people would make a pledge to the
library in this coming year.  Email Rev. Douglas Morton at
dmorton@ILT.org if you are interested in
signing up for the Friends of the Library club.
